Well, like most people who are, well, alive, I like The Killers.
Radio 1 have announced that they are doing a one off gig with The Killers in Blackpool on the 8th September. 3000 Tickets at £22 each went on sale at 9am today. Get them via phone or the web.
Now I am never more than 10 metres from a computer with the internet, apart from today. DAMMIT!
Needless to say, I didnt get tickets, although loads of people who like ebay did. Currently 2 tickets on eBay is going for £250! OH MY GOD! A £200 quid profit!
So instead of going to see the Killers, and having a tidy sum in my pocket I was in a bloody traffic jam. Hrm, which would I prefer…?
On a sort of related note, I decided to start learning the guitar this weekend. Watch this space to see if I get any good at it.
For all those who wish to dive head first into the wonderful waters of the Web 2.0 ocean, a fantastic course can be found here at the Ajax Code Camp.
The course is a free online course that each week you can download the notes and go through the exercises.
Its currently up to week two and I have found it very informative. Just thought that I would spread the good word.
Well, I finally got around to it, and have got the photos for my wedding online. Check them out here, at the ll new Ghosty Gallery.
Also, we got around to booking our honeymoon. Thank you to all those who generously donated. We’re off to The Paradise Boutique Resort, Koh Yao, Thailand, in december.
