Last Week
Last week was good, if you dont count the endless hours of work that I have had to do :S
The BBC put on a show called Through Hell and High Water. If you dont know about this then I am very sorry, but you missed out. The show followed James Cracknell and Ben Fogle as the attempted to row accross the Atlantic - yeah, that big watery thing between Africa and South America. I have to say that I thought that I was pushing myself when I used to do the Nijmegen 4 Day Marches in Holland.
To give you a clue as to the how the program went, most teams who took part had 2 years or more worth of training. They decided to do it 2 months before the start of the race. The show follwed them all the way. It was inspiring viewing and I enjoyed watching all of it. They should be really pleased with what they did. The only thing that I couldnt understand was why the BBC put it on at 9:30 every morning.
If it is on again - even if you watched it - you must watch it!
Also, whats with the winter olympics. First of all the opening ceremony has people skating around with flames coming out of thier heads. And now I find myself sitting there watching curling. I even looked up how the scoring works. I never care about sport. Whats going on?!?!
