Bands

No, not the musical type, the ones that you wear on your wrists - the little rubber ones. Well, I have got a new page up about them, check it out here.

Please link to it so that the word gets around.

More Mapping

Whilst doing some reading about google maps I have come accross this program that is designed by google. Take a look at this, I have to say that it is very cool. Especially when you click the buildings box.

Now you dont even need to leave yout home to go sight seeing.

Comment Spam

Well, today was a proud day for me. My site is obviously attracting some attention as I received my first bit of comment spam in the form of free pron woo \o/

More impresively they managed to post it to the junk mail post I put up a few weeks ago. Spammers with a sense of humor, who’d a thought.

Coding

I have just started to mess around with Google Maps and have started to populate a map of canterbury with pubs. The aim of this will be to provide a vital resource for anyone who wants to know the pubs in canterbury. Also, I plan to try and get some kind of a pub-crawl generator working off of it. Who knows. Watch this space.

Films

Reading through the BBC News Entertainment section I came upon this article on the new Charlie and the Chocolate factory film.

I have to say that this quote from the article troubled me somewhat.

“He invites kids to the factory and gives them sweets and chocolates, but on the other hand the four of them meet a sticky end.”

Now, is it just me or does this not sound like a film you want to take your children to?
