Junk Mail

I have just been down and collected the weekly collection of junk mail delivered, and subsequently ignored by my neighbours. I have to say, these people who send junk mail are’nt the most clever people in the world.

Lets take two examples from this week.

  • 1: Conservatories.
I dont know how many of you people out there know where I live, but its on a first floor flat. That doesnt really help when it comes to the installation of the conservatories.
  • 2: Sky tv.
I already have it! Why advertise it to me? That is unless you want me to be annoyed that the new offer is better than the one I got when I signed up.

Diana

Is it just me or should the poor woman be allowed to rest in peace. I am starting to get fed up with all this gossip about her at the moment. Especially by a so called “confidante”. If I confide in secrecy to someone, then I would expect that person to take it to the grave with them, not write a book, and publish it the The Sun of all papers.

She must have done a lot of bad in her life, but she also did a hell of a lot of good. Let her private life stay private. We all do silly things once in a while. To be honest, hearing how she rung the Queen Mothers private line and hanging up when she picked up is not my idea of important news.

Get a life people.

Weather

Its too hot, I dont like it. Also, why does the rest of England get thunderstorms and we dont. According to the BBC forecast this morning, Kent is the only place that is not going to have rain today :(

Last Night

Being woken up during a nights sleep is becoming something of a regular occurance these days due to our neighbours who like (it seems) nothing more than to have a party, play loud crappy Drum ‘n’ Bass music, play football outside our window in the street at 3am and have fisticuffs with the oddball at the party.

Last night was no different. At 2am we were woken to the loud music, and someone being kicked out of the fun. He wasnt too happy, and started to swear loudly to the people inside. Eventually shall we say, someone came out and “encouraged him” to leave the area. Fine I thought, and drifted back off to sleep - I havent caught up on the sleep I lost travelling to disney.

So we wake up this morning bright and early, get ready to leave and go outside. It seems the guy who was kicked out didnt leave the area completely. He came back and did some midnight painting. Next doors house, and the road outside is blue. A pot of paint sits in our alleyway, plus foot prints trapsing into their backgarden. All I can say is that I am glad that our flat wasnt splatted with paint and that its only the alleyway affected.

Hopefully the parties might stop now, once bitten twice shy so to speak.
